Targeted Article Marketing - Latest 4 Practical Steps to Grow Your Article Marketing

Why do you need to grow your article marketing? Is submitting 1-2 articles per day won't bring you the traffic you need? Why do you need to increase the number of your articles? Are 10-20 articles enough to pull up your ranking and make your website a good source of information in the eyes of search engines? Well, the answer is no!

Experts agree that if you would like to see noticeable increase in your page views, you need at least 5 submissions per day. This is the ideal number in augmenting your inbound links while strengthening your online presence. Also, you need to multiply the number of your articles, as the more content you produce, the more credible you become online.

Here are the 4 practical steps to grow your article marketing:

1. Avoid procrastination. Putting writing on hold and thinking that you can just double your output the next day can be deadly to your marketing strategy. This can greatly affect the quality of your articles which may pose threat against your online credibility. So, eliminate procrastination from your system and do whatever you can do today.

2. Extend your writing hours. If you are truly interested in growing your article marketing, you must be determined to augment the number of your output. You can allot another 1-2 hours per day to produce additional articles.

3. Stick with writing formats that are easy and quick to write. Studies show that "how-to's" and "10 tips" types of articles are quicker to write compare to paragraph-form articles as they only require brief introduction and list of your ideas. This can save you more time and help you to become more productive.

4. Write short articles. Avoid wasting your time writing lengthy articles, they are seldom read anyway. Instead, make your articles run 300-500 words.

Article Marketing - How to Write 20 Articles per Day

Article marketing of course is the process of writing articles, embedding them with links to your website, and submitting them to the various online directories that accept articles for online publishing. Article marketing in my opinion is one of the best ways to get quality, responsive traffic to your website. However, with article marketing, if you really going to make a full-time income out of it, you have to write prolifically. Many days I write over 20 articles per day. I do not do it because it is fun, I do it because it is lucrative.

I have to admit, it is hard to write 20 articles per day. After I have written about 10 articles, my mind becomes less creative. I think it would be easier to write 20 articles per day, or at least 10 articles per day, if I were writing really long articles, and then breaking them up into smaller articles. But because I do not do that, I have to come up with 10 to 20 new article topics every single day. And that is the most difficult part.

So how do I do it? Or more rightfully so how should you do it?

The first thing to do is to write out 20 article topics at the beginning of the day. That way towards the end of the day, when you get to the 12th article or the 15th article, you do not give up because you are in creative mind, and at this point, cannot come up with any new article titles or topics. This also helps you mentally, because you believe you have not finish the project until you've written at least the 20 articles.

Once I have written 20 article topics, then I begin to write about 300 words about each article topic. I write conversationally, just the way I think about it. I think this makes it easier.

One of the most important things about trying to write 20 articles per day is that you have to be committed to it. You see 20 articles per day times 20 days in the month (I don't work weekends), equals 400 articles per month. If some days you only write 10 articles and some days you only write five articles and some days you don't write any. And maybe a few days you write 20 articles at the end of the month maybe only have 100 articles or 200 articles -- which is much less than half the income from 400 articles.

Article Marketing - How To Make Money

Selling articles is a type of advertising that is now universal and trendy among online businesses. Firms have been created solely to provide unique articles with unique content for web pages as a method for their promotion.

Article marketing has encouraged the writers by providing them to display their articles for free. Due to this, we find article directories having long lists of free articles which may be helpful to the viewers to get information they want and to the website by increasing its viewers. Some sites offer their own articles only so as to keep their content in limit.

An important feature of article marketing is SEO targeting by using specific key words. Articles will be germane to the overall content of a website but will be loaded with certain words and phrases to make web crawler programs detect them and lead those who search the terms to see the page on a results page and then to visit the site.

Some articles contain misspelled words and poorly-worded phrases to ensure uniqueness and to bring searches who misspell words to the sites. This brings traffic, but many visitors may be unlikely to stay on a page with spelling mistakes and grammatical errors. They may assume any product is as bad as the spelling.

Article marketing can provide you with revenue in several ways. The primary source of profit is by linking to sites to generate traffic from visitors, to sell products online, or to provide in some other way for the needs of those who are intrigued by the articles and drawn to the site. You can also offer your articles to other website owners, and tailor the articles to their needs.

Some site owners think that generating traffic is everything, even though they make little money if no one buys their services or clicks on ads. High quality articles are important because they encourage visitors to stay longer when they visit and to make return visits. They generally give your site a professional atmosphere that encourages visitors to purchase your goods or services. Good articles are worth the extra expense.

Those with writing skills can of course create their own copy, but many people prefer ghost written articles commissioned from professional writers. Some recruit individuals and others utilize online sites where articles may be solicited and purchased. These are then placed in directories and sites but will be credited to the purchaser, not the actual author.

Types of Writers in Online Article Marketing

As we study the online article marketing venue, we see so many levels of article authors. We have seasoned veteran writers and even many published novelists as well as individuals who have only written one or two articles. There are complete novices, student, reporters, authors, industry leaders and we can classify them into various categories such as:

  • Genius
  • Enlightened
  • Brilliant
  • Experts
  • Authority
  • Creative
  • Student of Subject
  • Computer Generated
  • Key Wording Bandits
  • Poser (BS’er)
  • Plagiarizers
In considering all this and describing the differences of the "Type of Writers" out there. I was thinking of adding the "Knowledge Distributor" as an add-on sub-type to many of those types of writers listed; also the "Ego Writer" or "Pure Opinion" or "Blog" writer. I also realize that there a many cross-over types where a writer might be a combination of some or more types, even sometimes in the same article.

Thus if we could design a program to "Catch Mood" and have sub-type designation, similar to the Voice Recognition software which catches "voice inflection" or emotion, no matter what dialect, I think we might have a very good search tool for the reader. Of course this might cost some money, but there are some VC companies in San Jose that I am SURE would like such a tool.

Such a tool could be used for searching thru research papers, intelligence, Blogs, threats, opinions to find information that is relevant and it might also help us find the geniuses, experts, authorities and enlightened individuals who can help with the forward progression of mankind.

You see, I believe, as perhaps Plato did, as he seem to elude to the concept that everyone in a society should do what they are best at and be alleviated from as much of the trivial-ness activities as possible to concentrate on those endeavors.

So the searching tool would not only be hyper-value added for the reader of this site or to add to a semantic search feature on Web 2.0 or 3.0, but might benefit all aspects of sifting thru the 10 plus billion web pages to find what you are truly looking for.

Of course in building any AI system we must remember that software programs of this type work on definitions and not like an actual human brain. But if we can better understand how the human brain does all this and how best to classify the types and sub-types and combinations and anomalies of combos, we might serve us all to a huge degree. So, those are my thoughts.

Want To Make Residual Income Online Time After Time?

So, who wants to make residual income online? (If you don't have your hand up in the air right now, call your family doctor, because you should. And you can be making residual income starting TODAY.)

By writing articles that are rich with the keywords that Google needs at the moment (think supply and demand here) then you run the very strong possibility of having that article find its way into the natural search results page.

For example, you write an article about "Alcohol Dependency Among Teens" because you've done you keyword research and this looks to be a ripe opportunity to do some writing. So far, great.

You then submit your article to ezinearticles.com one of the best directories in the eyes of Google (the biggest engine on the planet). So far, even better.

Now here's the fun part. Because ezine is so highly Page Ranked and because it has become one of the most prominent, if not THE most prominent article directoRy out there, Google places VERY HIGH values on the articles submitted here.

Google and the other engines then perform the searches actively looking for the content it needs. And if "Alcohol Dependency Among Teens" is something that they need (low supply) they will very quickly get your article up as a natural result!

So wait, I thought this article was about how to make residual income online. It is!

That article now 'lives' on that page of Google results. Depending on how popular that keyword is, thousands or tens of thousands of people will now be exposed to your article. That's repeated exposure. And repeated exposure is the pure definition of residual.

The income part of this equation happens in your resource box. That's where you very nicely invite people over to your site to read a review, or check out your latest and greatest.

Writing articles and mastering article marketing is one of the best ways to make residual income online. If there's a better, more natural way, I'd love to hear about it.

Article Writing - Quantity or Quality?

Article Marketing can be a great way to gain exposure for yourself and your business. In its basic form, it is simply a process of writing an article and getting it distributed to as many places as possible. If done properly, submitting your articles to various Article Directories will allow you to use the power of Viral Marketing to spread your article across the Internet as Website owners, Newsletter publishers, and others perform the work of spreading your articles near and far.

When it comes to writing and distributing articles there are two basic schools of thought. One says that you should get as many articles out there as possible, employing various tactics such as paying 'ghost writers' a small fee to write articles for you. While you don't actually write the articles yourself, you receive credit as the author of the article.

If you visit some of the Article Directories, you'll notice that some writers have thousands of articles listed. While some may indeed be as prolific a writer as Isaac Asimov, many are employing others to write articles for them. Using an 'Article Ghostwriting' service allows a person to quickly get tons of articles out there, but has some drawbacks as well. The method I prefer consists of writing your own unique articles.

Writing is a very personal experience. You start with an idea and watch it take on a life of its own until it becomes a completed work. No matter how humble it may be, most writers take a bit of pride in composing something that is hopefully entertaining, informative or provides useful information in some shape or form.

Writing your own articles also allows you to control the writing process, enjoy the creative experience, and in the end place your name upon something that is uniquely a reflection of your own thoughts and knowledge.

When using someone else to write an article for you, you're giving up creative control and signing your name to someone else's thoughts. If your goal is simply to churn out articles and get them distributed, then this will be of little consequence to you.

However, if it matters more to you that your writings are truly a reflection of you and your unique personality, then in all likelihood you should chose to write your own articles. You should also recognize that you will most likely have to sacrifice quantity for quality. There are a few excellent Article Submission services like Article Marketer that can help you overcome this to a point, but by choosing to write your own articles, you most likely won't win a record for publishing the most articles.

As with most things in life, there is usually a trade-off between quality and quantity. While the two can exist together, the reality is that they rarely do. In writing your articles, make a decision as to what's the most important factors for you in your writings; quantity or quality?

Writing Articles is One of the Affordable Internet Marketing Methods

You will see the millions of searches done to a certain keyword. These keywords when typed on search boxes of search engines will generate indexed websites containing articles with those keywords. This is what leads traffic to websites with keyword-rich articles. So, the magic word is articles, articles, articles! You can't have too many.

Obviously content is of the utmost importance. Writing articles is one of the most utilized Internet marketing media today. Internet surfers just can't seem to get enough of information on various subjects. Articles provide information, therefore, this is a great way to drive hot traffic to your web site.

You might at this point be wondering why! Let's take a brief look at the benefits that writing articles can give your Internet business

1. It's absolutely free

Sounds too good to be true doesn't it. Well it is true. You do, of course, have to pay for your Internet Service Provider. That's it. After that, all you need is your computer and your thoughts. Then turn those thoughts into articles that you then can put on your website. That really doesn't cost you much does it? Well it does cost you your time, but well worth it!

2. Your website will get noticed in a short period of time.

Submit your article to article directories that get the most web traffic. You will notice that your website will start to get traffic. Don't forget to include your resource box or byline, though.

3. Automatically obtain back links

When you submit your articles to directories usually other websites will make use of your article, too. With the copyright terms of your articles, the URL of your website will still be in tact and will in turn help to direct more traffic to your website.

4. Improve your reputation

You will need to do more than just display your products on your website. You will not gain as much conversion rate just by doing this alone. Conversion is when your traffic converts to sales. So by writing articles you can show that you are knowledgeable in your field. Therefore, increasing your sales.

Get those creative juices flowing. Jot down some ideas quickly to jumpstart your article. Then just let the article momentum go from there.

Article Marketing - How Do I Quickly Repurpose 5 Existing Articles to the Article Directories?

Q: How do I re-purpose 5 existing articles to the article directories ASAP?

A: That's a great question because many people have existing content sitting around somewhere that they could quickly and easily post online in the article directories.

So here are the steps to get your existing content up quickly.

Step 1 - Focus on just one article directory to start, and I'll suggest EzineArticles. I'll show you my three tiered submission approach to all the article directories in another article.

Step 2 - Get an account at EzineArticles - Simple and easy to do. You get your account and can start submitting articles right away.

Step 3 - Chunk it down - Most content that has been written before may be too long for the article directories. Writing articles for distribution on the internet is a different animal. If you have an article that is 900 words long, you want to chunk it down into at least 2 articles, maybe three. In this way you have 3 "article agents" out there working for you instead of just one.

Step 4 - Submit your article - So many people put off this step because they are waiting for their article to be perfect. DON'T do that! Get your article(s) out there working for you. You can go in and tweak and fine tune them later. This is especially true when you are re-purposing old content.

Step 5 - Do steps 3 and 4 over and over again. Article marketing is a numbers game, and the higher your article volume the higher all your other numbers will be.
